English Manuscript Proofreading Guidelines

For manuscripts submitted in English, authors must upload a proofread manuscript by an English language expert. This requires proof of proofreading, such as a certificate or a statement confirming the final manuscript has undergone US English grammar checking. This proof must be uploaded with other publication requirements once the manuscript has been Accepted.

The proofreading statement/certificate may be issued by (select one):

1. An official university language center that has proofread the final manuscript; or

2. A sworn translator who has proofread the final manuscript; or

3. Other official agencies (including online institutions) that can provide accountable validation of the proofreading results.
